1. Cathédrale
Cecil Taylor: piano
Note: Eagle-eye Ed Rhodes recently discovered a reference to this item in the program notes to a March 1965 concert by Cecil Taylor at Town Hall (in NYC). The notes include the text below. Since it's unclear whether or not this record was ever really pressed or distributed, it's not included in the Record Releases or Table of Contents.
A limited first edition of Cecil Taylor's work "Cathédrale" is available on a 12" LP record. "Cathédrale" is a work for solo piano and is performed by the composer.
This recording can be purchased by sending a check or money order for $5.00 (N.Y.C. residents must include $.20 N.Y.C. sales tax) to "Cathédrale", Apt. 5, 60 Second Avenue, N.Y.C. 1003.
Since this is a limited edition, "Cathédrale" will not be available from any other source.

Les Grandes Répétitions CBS-Sony (Japan?) 01187 (lp)
Note: Considerable mystery surrounds this record, which may not in fact have ever been released. "Les Grandes Répétitions" was a French TV series on contemporary music put together in 1965-66 by Luc Ferrari and Gˇrard Patris, with episodes on Messiaen, Varèse, Stockhausen, Scherchen, and Taylor.
