I was looking for this 1991 Sammy Sosa Score card #256, one of the first cards I ever saw that actually made me react out loud amidst strangers who looked at me as if they'd never heard the word "composition" before. They then decided, after quickly consulting their various guides and charts, that the card I was holding was worth a mere seventeen cents—and only half that to a dealer. And I'm saying (to myself now) "My god, look at the lines in this thing someone actually built this card the whole thing just screams SLUGGER so loud it conjures up a tiny flaming baseball trailing thick smoke about four feet off to the left there, over near that sign that says "Rest Rooms."
